David Wohlfarth Senior Advisor

David Wohlfarth, Senior Advisor at Gabel Associates, has over 40 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the natural gas industry. This includes his decades of service with Public Service Enterprise Group (Enterprise), a large utility holding company, and its subsidiaries. Mr. Wohlfarth has extensive, hands-on experience in gas supply acquisition and strategic planning, contract negotiation, federal and state regulatory issues, and corporate business development.

Through his past role as Vice President of Gas Supply at PSEG Power LLC, he was responsible for leading the wholesale gas business. Specifically, he directed the utilization of the gas supply, transportation and storage contracts previously held by its gas utility affiliate, and maximized profits derived from those contracts through trading activities, integration with the generation assets, off-system sales, and restructuring of the contract portfolio. He also directed the successful implementation of the wholesale gas business strategy, which thrived due to his leadership.
