Jake Weinberg, Senior Associate, provides comprehensive support on a wide range of energy issues. As part of the firm’s Wholesale Power and Market Services Division, he assists clients in navigating the complex world of RTOs, with a primary focus on SPP and MISO. Mr. Weinberg participates in numerous committees and working groups, supporting clients on issues encompassing resource adequacy, generator interconnection, transmission, and other critical issues affecting market participation and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Gabel Associates, Mr. Weinberg served as a Litigation Associate, handling a wide array of complex legal matters from case inception through discovery, trial, post-trial motions, and appellate practice. This experience honed his skills in research, advocacy, organization, and client communication, allowing him to develop forward-thinking solutions to complex challenges. Mr. Weinberg earned his J.D., with honors and a Certificate in Environmental Law, from Pace University School of Law, where he participated in the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic and contributed to environmental protection initiatives with Hudson Riverkeeper.
