Damase Hebert is a Senior Associate for Gabel Associates. He is the firm's representative addressing the operations, procedures, and markets of regional transmission organizations (RTO). RTOs operate transmission systems and wholesale energy markets in different regions of the United States, including New England. Mr. Hebert has seven years experience working at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities as an attorney for state, regional and federal energy matters. He also has earned a BS in engineering from TCNJ as well as his law degree from Seton Hall University.
Mr. Hebert expertise allows Gabel Associates’ clients to effectively advance and protect their business interests in the wholesale and retail market in a cost effective manner. He facilitates generation interconnection studies and interconnection service agreements among new generation resources (including cogeneration facilities), the local transmission system owner, and the RTO.
Mr. Hebert is consults on RTO activities and participates in various RTO committees and working groups.
